 Me.  I think it's wise to explain a little about me and why I'm writing this blog.

I'm a very honest person.  My husband tells me that I say things that no one else says.  A friend of mine once told one of my kids, "Your mom asks questions no one else is willing to ask."

My life has been marked by experiences of being excluded and being rejected.  

But, God has used those experiences to shape me and to give me a great love for people.  My heart's desire is that others would feel God's love--to feel wanted and to feel included.  God has continually pressed on my heart to love the people that he brings into my life, whether that is only for fifteen minutes or for fifteen years.  My hope is that here in this space, I can share some of the things that weigh on my heart and my mind.

11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.    I John 4:11-12
